Raystown at 50 was an exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Raystown dam, an important asset to Huntingdon County and the Juniata Community. This exhibition combined the dam's history, the impact it had on the local community, and the ways that local ecosystems help us. My main role during the development of this exhibition was to pull specimens from our collection that represented the wildlife of the Raystown area, as well as writing informational text about those specimens and the kinds of research that Juniata students and faculty perform at the Raystown Field Station. I also looked through our photo archives to find images of Juniata traditions at Raystown Lake.
